Hi everyone :)

Someone mentioned this to me the other day.... 50 Cents and Justin Timberlake using Amiga sound from Hybris and you decide!! My guess is that Justin Timberlake once used the Amiga as a gamer computer ;)

Been a much longer process, but I am counting on this summer we will move on Hybris. There is so much to show ;))))

Got great ingame pre-fly ins.. damn I really want to show it, but I have to respect the original coder Martin Pedersen's wish. Not to show until he is ready.... I am pushing, pushing.... ;)

I checked the app store, it's not there for 50 cents, is it only in certain countries app stores?

I think that's just a standard SID arpeggio riff.  They used it in Hybris, but I don't think this is a sample from Hybris, just another use of a standard SID arpeggio.  Didn't I see Timbaland in that video for a few seconds?  He has a SIDstation.  He also blatantly ripped of the C64 demo tune "acid jazzed evening", added a drum beat and took credit for it (Google it).

As for the video: Wow, what an innovative hip-hop video.  Rap about how much women want to have sex with you (check), show a lot of near-orgasmic derriere-grinding women (check), drive around in an expensive car (check). That's cutting edge, that is.

Very interesting. Still think this is too obvious a Hybris.. ahem inspiration for AYO. Actually by admitting the use of said C64 tune, it just gives more.. clues.. notice the use of the "she" theme in AYO....

Actually within the above youtube, they say that Justin Timberlake actually, admitted "the inspiration" from the c64 tune and compensated for it. WOOOOW, yeah that is what they said!!!! (the above youtube is in swedish/norwegian which I understand) ;)

Well Justin Timberlake and 50 cent, how about compensating the Amiga community for the use of Hybris in your AYO song? We are always looking for great fans ;)

Cheers

I don't know or care who these guys are but thanks for the Hybrid video. I have Hybris in my top5 game music tracks list of all time.

I consider these two to be more of business men, and pied pipers of destructive influences than artists or musicians, that is to say if the purpose of music is to muse and to heal.

BTW, isn't that the video and song that glorifies peeping toms? If I did that I'd get arrested.

Good points there XDelusion. The AYO theme is pretty spooky once actually looking at what the vid is all about.. besides the main sound theme is clearly a Hybris rip. Honored really  :rtfm:

Surely the original composer of the Hybris theme would send a letter to 50 Cent's record company through his lawyer... right? Or was the theme song made public domain?
