I'm not seeing AEROS Plus in the store, just Aros Broadway.
edit: Nevermind, didn't see the second page.

Did you press + to scroll Further?
-
AppID of AEROS Plus is "58"
You need first to purchase it. Than you are allowed to download it.
Price is 0 indiecoins.

That is truly the Rube Goldberg of AppStores....
-
Oh no : D
Wait for the graphical Client First. This One is just the geek Retro Nerd Edition.

What a terribly confusing way to obtain software. The original post here really doesn't tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for or why I should be trying it, and once you get to the provided link/site it looks like nothing more than changelogs.
I couldn't be bothered to DL the clients for my various machines once I found them simply because I didn't have a clue what the heck I would be DL'ing :/ Sorry if that comes off as rude, but the site looks like nothing more than a blog full of cryptic changelogs.
Please for the love of God, it's 2014. Makes things simple. Don't mean to be snarky, but making people jump through hoops with stuff like this does no one any good. When downloading some piece of software that may be a real good piece of kit seems more difficult than applying for an online credit check I just gotta bow out.

It's a nice offer...
...but whilst I signed up for an account, the confirmation e-mail still hasn't arrived (several hours later now). I suspect the e-mail now won't arrive in time for me to take advantage of the offer :( .
I'll keep checking that Junk Mail folder, just in case...
-
@Gryfon
I got only one failure message about a "smogbot" account which is a throw-away email system. This is on the blacklist and i am not eager to allow it anyway.
I assume that the confirmation mail has been put into spam folder.
If you tell me your username i could resend it. Also i can send you a voucher so you can get it later as well.
@Duce
Below the change log you can find the links to the clients.
They are "grey" which is a bad choice.
Later the page will be even usable for non-readers because i will use images : )

please try http://aros-broadway.de/indiego/marketplace/index.html
hyperlinks are now green and better visible

I'd love to see a Youtube video featuring AREOS Plus

Registered and got e-mail through very quickly. Had fun downloading the .img file and enjoyed the 'nerdy' CLI aspect of the interface - who needs icons? Sadly, can't get the image to work. Have uncompressed it using 7zip and wrote to memory card using windiskimager (as I have done with previous images) but when I put the SD card in the Pi and boot, all I get is a blank screen. Tested with a different image (Raspbian) which was fine so either I'm doing something wrong or the image is not working. Help?
-
Thanks for the offer, but I've studiously avoided command line interpreters since my MS-DOS and OS-9 days.
I'll gladly pay for the graphic interface version, when released.
IF I can decipher the payment scheme.
Not to sound snide, but I don't think you could have made your website any more confusing if you'd tried.
Still, if you have Staf Verhaegen even marginally involved, my trust in your endeavor is greatly enhanced.

A great excuse for me to try a Raspberry Pi....

A great excuse for me to try a Raspberry Pi....
Oh please, port it to the Chromebook so there is something worth running on those contraptions.
-
New day - having another go! Problem is that it takes time - my internet is pretty slow so download takes ages and the writing to SD card takes ages again so the whole process takes double ages!!!
I have tried the public version before so will be very interested to try the full version with the lx thingy going on!
Does this incudle UAE for 68K games and programmes?
-
@havie
Did you use a 8gb Card? It does not work/fit on all 4gb Cards.
-
The offer is extended for another 24 hours.
We surpassed the 100th registration.
Thank you.
I take and listen to the cretics ; )
-
I got the opt in email.. dont know WTF I'm supposed to look for.
This is confusing as hell. Why didnt you just put a DIRECT LINK to download this? I'll give it a shot when that happens, if not, I'll just look at a youtube vid...because like another user has said..this is even more confusing than your website.
-
Just Login and Type pap for purchase Applications
Than enter the App id which is 58.
Now you own the App and you can Download it whenever you like
-
Thanks for extending the offer; I have been away without a computer and would have missed it.
I'm just downloading it now.
-
I found another reason to keep it free a bit longer : )
Happy Easter!
-
And you create a login how?
Still frustrating and poorly thought out.
This experience does not encourage me to trust in your OS endeavors Pascal.
-
Hmm the Website cleaely says "enter the Matrix" (Registering page)
There you can create a Login.
Again: a easy to Understand Client will follow. It is meant to do a stress Test not as "the final result".
Seems to work even if you are more Stressed than the server : p
1. http://www.indiego-Gaming.com/marketplace
2. Click on enter the Matrix hyperlink
3. Register
4. wait for opt-in Mail and Check spam Folder
5. now you can Login
Later you will be able to Register via Clients..
There will be more than two Clients and the API is Open, so that 3rd Parties can make own Clients.
Look at it as if it is a Test Run for the Server. Not the Client because the later has not Even a versionnumber.

Chromebooks are expensive check odroid u3.
This comes next
-
Thanks, that is somewhat less confusing (at least I could follow it).

@havie
Did you use a 8gb Card? It does not work/fit on all 4gb Cards.
Well - got it working and it's pretty impressive! SD card was 16gb or 8gb but nothing was still happening so panicked and thought I'd killed the Pi. Tried Riscos and everything worked - panic over. Then fiddled with the hdmi control in Windows and it worked. Strange as I have never had problems before with other OSes.
Amiga emulation isn't too bad (although I miss AGA). Speed is ok. Love the way that the two OSes overlap - pretty seamless. Are there any more options or onlt those from the front end? Can I use a hdf? Will there be JanusUAE type integration that runs Amiga from Aros (or other way around)?
Great work chaps.
P.S. Struggles a little bit with my wireless adaptor - sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

Well, I give up. Tried it just now.. logged into the store..typed pap, 58 etc..etc..
I'll pass. If anyone has a youtube vid or something as a review, post a link.
