http://www.amiga-access.de/index.php?menu=1 (http://www.amiga-access.de/index.php?menu=1) ... is there any future for it or expansion ???
-
"Future"? Well, they still work, and provided you take care of them they should continue to work. They are not in production any more.
There are no expansions for it since A) It was not designed to be expanded, and B) There were very few made.
-
As there is a clockport on the Access as well, you could do some minimum expansions through that,. but I haven't tested yet how compatibel it is to an original A1200 Clockport.
-
I could see an idea with installing it in my A1200T and connect it to my TV-Card... i COULD really see the advatanges of that...in fact, i'm going to see if i can buy one!
Wasn't there an italian company making a smaller batch last year?
Cheers,
Povl
-
Italian batch ?? Dunno, but if I can lay my hands on one then I shall surely try to connect a clockport device to it to see how far it is compatible and what you can do with it !!!
-
i'll take 7 :-D
(the amount of slots i have left :-) )
-
Well, I'm hoping to win the auction on ebay at the moment.... anyone here battleing for it?
We can draw straws instead :)
-
You mean the one at 93,56 euro ?? Yeah, I have been bidding on it. Why do you think I accidently asked this question about the Access ???
-
Povl : out of pure respect for who you are and what you have done for this community I am gonna let you try to win this bidding without me. I guess I've already got enough of hardware (not true) and I also need money to buy me an A4000 tower ... so dude, try to get that Access !!! It's over 101 euro now already and I just stopped bidding !!!
PS : my Ebay handle is DiscoVmax
-
Effy: thanks, but I don't think i deserve that...
But if the entire Amiga community behaved like this, and didn't spend money on competing against eachother, we would really be better off.
...and that was the moral preach of today...
i'm lord haymigga signing off... 8-)
-
I'm interested to see what AI thinks of the site using their logo.
-
156 euro for PedGaard. Congratulations Povl !!! My bidding was stopped at 85,01 but I see that Methanoid really tried to beat ya to it :) I have seen in the feedback of that dude that he likes Atari a lot but also special Amiga stuff ... so I guess you have done your very best :)
-
Already talked to methanoid, he's a nice chap. We had quite a fight over it didn't we, but it was a fair one :)
Now it's time to look for a proper network card for it, and an isa 90 degree riser card as it has to fit in tight space!
-
As for the isa slot, do the same drivers for isa cards in Zorro busboards apply for this Access with isa slot ???

but i've heard that an Accton ISA card might work...
-
Damn Povl, quoting my info from the developer...
yeah, it SHOULD work with ISA card and GG2+ drivers.
I might be able to source up to 20 of these Access cards if anyone wanted one. I supplied the Roms to the company that have the remaining stock.
Yes, I bought some Atari stuff and some Amiga stuff and sold lots too....
No space at home.. I was biddding on that one but thought "why am I bidding and making it more expensive for this guy"?? So I stopped!
-
If you could source some of them I would be more then willing to buy one. Let me know please!!

If you can... How much?
-
It would be coll to have one of those for gaming. I'd bet it beats WinUAE! :-D

Hi,
Mini-Amiga ??? You mean you want to put it in a Big Tower pc case ???
Huh? God no, I hate PC cases, I would put it in as slim line a case as I could find, maybe using laptop drives. MMmmm ;-)
