I bought CDROM from Veslia made for A1200. IDE Interface w/ no Documentation. It has no Master/slave jumper, HD needs to be Master Is there a way to setup CDROM so the computer sees it?
I appreciate any info!

Have you got IDEfix or similar. If so you need to install the software first.

The CDROM is accessed using ATAPI commands, a superset that the standard IDE device on the A1200 lacks. While there is other software out there that provides the required atapi.device, IDEfix'97 available on Aminet (without a key flle) or on the Cloato Amiga Forever CD with a key file, has the easiest setup. A buffered interface (EIDE'99) makes the whole process as smooth as glass.

If you have OS3.9 only thing you need is cd filesystem. Like a CacheCDFS or AsimCDFS
With OS3.9 you can use scsi.device and installation of cd filesystem usually does mount file to hd0:/devs

You seem to be getting similar replies. Have you tried contacting vaselia for help?
