Seems to be a commercial product, so that being the case no.
Fourteen potential sales isnt nearly close enough to cover costs, let alone make money :)

Seems the developers are fairly active on the Steam forums, I'll go ask, even though I don't have an OS4 machine.  I'm guessing since it uses OpenGL it shouldn't be too terribly difficult, but then again I have no clue.

P.S. Only the first one ever came out for anything besides DOS/Windows.  But as far as I know, they're remaking all three.

I really really hope they do not remake the other two, when this one went on sale it was not even a working game, 7 odd months down the road and they are still patching, it is still very far from polished and still contains many bugs and glitches, and some people are still getting show stopping bugs. There are games sites selling it really really cheap as in $5 including the DLC, suppose its a bit of fun at that price. DLC that is another bone of contention, they release DLC while still patching the game and the DLC brought in more bugs. Also the game runs to a time limit so does not adding all the extra DLC stuff mess that up, they say no, I say yes, because when I played it on the Amiga years ago I actually encountered that time limit, the orcs invaded and GAME OVER.

When you look at the options screen etc in game they really look like bedroom amature stuff :(

As I say I really really hope they leave the other two alone and leave these historical RPGS as they are.

Cas -I think we need a new RPG game on the Amiga.

Hmm, interesting thought, I think Desura is open source (for those who have never heard of Desura, it's a Steam-like service, but seems to be more centralized toward mods and the modding communities).  Maybe someone should look into porting it to the Amiga.

How cool would it be to get some of the games that have become 'free' in the past decade or so, and have them in an easily maintainable game library on the Internet?  Maybe it could be a launch pad for getting more companies that made games in the mid-80's to 90's to free up their old software library.

Edit: Desurium is the open source version of Desura.  It's under GPLv3.  http://www.desura.com/groups/desurium

Developer responded about Realms of Arkania.  He said that the Unity engine that the game uses would need to be ported to OS4.  Of course if you could get the Unity Engine guys to port that, there would be a possibility of other great games that use it, like Wasteland 2, which I think would be VERY awesome!

Brilliant idea,  I hope A-EON are taking notes.    No use having a new Amiga without some great games to play on them. :)

I hope they are up for the challenge.  I think it would be possible especially now we have new Amiga hardware.  From my prospective the more interest we can get in games being ported the better.   It will only benefit the Amiga Community and of course increase sales for hardware.

That's never going to happen. Unity3D is commercial software and the AOS4 market is way too small.
