Title: MAXTOR 7213SR 213 MB 3.5" INTERNAL DRIVE

Does anyone out there know how to set the address on this drive?  The jumpers are not labeled on the one I have.

I don't know if this will help, but you might try taking a look here (http://www.amos-online.com/pdi00/43620A15.pdf)  at Alpha Micro Products (or View as HTML (http://216.239.33.100/search?q=cache:U--OeancvSQC:www.amos-online.com/pdi00/43620A15.pdf+MAXTOR+7213SR+jumper&hl=en&ie=UTF-8) courtesy of Google if you can't read PDF).  This document includes installation instructions for several Maxtor drives in Alpha Micro computers.  Unfortunately, the instructions don't reference the Maxtor drives by model number.  But since drives in a model family tend to have the same jumper settings, I figured this might come in handy anyway.

http://www.maxtor.com/en/support/products/index.htm

Go there, choose ur drive from the dropdown list (listed via model number) and when that page comes up, go to the bottom and see "Technical Specs" or "Data Sheet" (both in PDF Acrobat format) and you can find all the info you need :-)

merry xmas fellow miggy-ans!! :)
