Hi,
Hope someone can shed some light on the following problem.
I have a rev 1.2N Picasso IV board...latest flashrom (7.4), latest FliFi (7) and latest Zorro2PCI bridge (4). I also have a Paloma PAL TV Tuner connected, which is recognised and works fine.
However, i have just purchased a Concierto soundcard add-on...and i cannot get anything to recognise the soundcard.
Accessing the Picasso IV flashrom, whilst holding the SHIFT key when booting - the Concierto option is greyed out. P4Info doesn't report that the board is connected. Obviously any software trying to access the board (such as the Concierto Mixer) reports that Concierto is not found.
I have cleaned the contacts between the PIV and Concierto...ensured that all pins are aligned...removed all other hardware...and still nothing. Set all Picasso IV jumper settings to default...still nothing.
Anybody have any suggestions, before i have to travel 200 miles to smash the sellers knee-caps in?
Thanks.

Hi rob
Take a lookat this site. Perhaps it helps.

Already had it bookmarked...all it did was confirm that my Picasso IV board is as up-to date as it can be.
No help with the Concierto problems...but thanks for looking.

You didn't say whether you ran the Concierto Install script from the Install floppy. I can't remember whether it's necessary or not, but if you don't have the floppy, I can email you a copy (of the floppy).
I had an old version of the PIV that was so old the FlickerFixer didn't work on startup, only after the board had been initialised. The Concierto still worked on that, though. So I don't think age can *be* a problem.
