Is there a 'legal' way to create your own diskettes ?
For my commodore 64 , I download d64 files , and use d64copy to create disks.

Do you mean 3.5? I thought that was only ever on CD.
The last floppy disk version was 3.1
I used to download dms on my a1200 and copy them to floppy. If your amiga is not online then can use crossdos or a fat32 formatted PCMCIA/compact flash card to transfer them. Or you can use a serial cable from your PC to your amiga, but that is slow.

Yep CD Only -

For legal ways you could try contacting Vesalia and Amigakit ?

Otherwise monitor Amibay.com and/or post in the wanted section.
For Amiga's there's ADF file images..
You can get a transfer kit from amigakit - http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=440
or get a floppy emulator - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SD-S-HXC-Floppy-Emulator-SLIM-/181328261207?pt=UK_VintageComputing_RL&hash=item2a3801b057
can also x/fer ADF images via NULL modem cable from PC etc..

There is a much cheaper floppy emulator based on the gotek drives.

I'll get the pcmcia transfer device from amigakit --- hopefully it won't be blocked by my CF iDE adapter card .
On my AmigaForever CD, I see workbench 3.1 under Z:\Amiga Files\Shared\adf
Thanks,
Peter

You can install AmigaOS 3.5 via ISO from CF card by simply mounting the ISO with this:

som99: Can you not just copy the ISO contents to CF card and run the installer from there? I'm sure I did something similar with OS3.9.

I have a slight memory that mid installation 3.9 complained about no CD are present but I might remember wrong so not sure, also extracting from windows have issues due to filnames etc so best is doing on a Amiga formated CF card from WinUAE I guess, but without doubt is the fastest method to just mount the ISO and be sure you wont get any problems :)
This method also works for most CD based games, the only CD game I can not get working this way is Exodus the last war.
Edit: BTW if anyone know a way to get Exodus running please give me a PM, I have DVD drive on my A1200 so mounting ISO's are not my only option.
