Does anyone know the physical dimensions of the Escom 4000T?
Thanks
-
Are all A4000Ts the same?
Anyway I found this (http://www.webworldinc.com/transdata/ti01010.htm), it just says "Amiga 4000T", dunno if it refers to the Escom model but it's semiserif all the way... ;-)
Dimensions are somewhere near the bottom of the page.

Big Mutha,
Mine measures... (case dimensions)
HEIGHT 53.5 cm
WIDTH 17.6 CM
DEPTH 51.5 CM
It is really too big and the first thing one should do is remove the "ramp" that sits ove the CPU daughter board.
It's secured by screws and is easy to remove.
If you want more info, post here.

The original C= and ESCOM A4000T cases are the same physical dimensions (only difference was cosmetic...swing open door had different trim). The final few A4000T systems manufactured by QuikPak were in a much larger case (larger P/S and more bays...was aimed at video toaster community). For those who don't recall, ESCOM sued QuikPak over manufacturing and killed off a potential buyer for the AMIGA assets (QuickPak had some interesting ideas but never had the capital to go beyond design stage).

Hi Matt,
if you are considering retowering, motherboard is 32 x 32 cm.
i found one suitable case, it was larger than average tower cases (i think was Lian)
thermaltake and so on should be suitable, too

The A4000T fit under my desk before I sold it to your dad.
Hope you like it when it finally gets there
