Hi all I have just downloaded afa for my amiga now that I have a Voodoo inside my system and would like to know who on the forum uses it and what there thoughts are?
-
Is there any other additional software needed for it to work and will I need to add lines to the start-up sequence, if I do what do I need to type into the start-up sequence?
-
I think Amikit uses afa.
-
There are a couple of lines added to ss to make it work, but as I recall everything is handled by the installer (it's been a LONG time since I installed Afa).
AmiKit does indeed use Afa for theming, font handling, etc. but I'm not sure that so-called "real" hardware is powerful enough to make Afa worthwhile (or so I've been told).

I have ran the installer but when I rebooted it has not changed anything, I guess I have to edit the start-up sequence but have not got a clue what to type and where In the sequence I type it?
-
Does amikit real work with mediator and voodoo 3?

I used to use it. Made a short video on youtube about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ffk04oYAFQ4 if you have a nice accelerator it works well :)

I actually watched your video today, how did you install? Did you have to edit the start-up sequence?
