Title: question netgear fa411

i have bought this card  ..everywhere says it works  with amiga ...on pcmcia card page listed as compatible  ..
ive got  card reset installed  card patch installed  ..cnet device16  ..i go to miami  expecting my 1200  to find the card ,,but  no luck yet again ..
i got this error  before  as well ,,CISTPL_CONF_MAP TUPLE  not  found ..
tested the card on my laptop came up first go ..
anyone know whats going on ? how can i test my pcmcia  port to see if its ok ? feel like giving up on this  now...shouldve tried usb  instead
arhhhhhhhhhh..frustrating

Common problem, I had one about ten years ago that did the exact same thing. There was likely more than one version of the fa411. I ended up with an Edimax which worked perfect.

at least i know my pcmcia  slot works  ..pcmcia info  identifies  the card ..but reports same error ..no  cistpl conf map tuple .
