Hi!
I have got myself a HXC floppy emulator that i intend to put into my A1200.
To do this nicely i have gutted an external diskdrive and hooked up the HXC to it.
That gives me a HXC acting as DF1 while still having DF0 intact. All fine so far, but only having the HXC acting as DF1 makes no-one happy as many things are hardcoded to boot from DF0.
I need a hardware switch that makes it possible to switch between DF0/DF1.
Could some HW guru give me info on how to do this?
Where do i solder, what lines do i cut? I am quite handy with the iron but i am not good at looking at schematics and finding out what to do. All I know is that i need a switch connected to sel0 and sel1.
I have found a lot of info on how to do this on the a500 and the a600, but nothing for the a1200.
Please help a brother out!

I have been planning the same and connecting the external HxC via a port on the back with a switch.
I might be all wrong here, but I was thinking of cutting the floppy cable open and soldering a second connector, then have a switch on the floppy power instead, when the switch is in one direction the power go to the internal floppy, when you flip it the other way the power go to the second floppy, same data cable but only one with power at once.
I think this would work but I have not tested.
