Okay, I finally got a refund for the defective board I picked up on fleabay so I'm looking for one that actually works!
I've still got the RAM to fit this board so kinda makes sense to stick with something that will use the memory.
Anybody got one they'd be willing to sell?
I'm in Amarillo, TX, so overseas will be considered, but shipping is going to be a factor for me also.

I got one but since I haven't had it in use for a while I would like to triple-check it before I would let it go so it might take me a week or so :kitty:

Curtis,
there are some other boards you might also consider.
gvp Gforce 030 - i would go for this over the a2000-030
the IVS Vector takes 32MB ram ,has scsi and uses standard 30 pin simms.
the CSA derringer is up to 030/50 and can take 32MB ram in 72pin simm-no scsi - hard to find accelerator
the Viper520cd is 020/33mhz(if memory serves) has 8MN on board,3.0 roms,ide - scare also.
Viper 530 i think will also work in the 2000.
If you want to go high end there is the blizzard 2060 with 128Mb,scsi,68060 etc.
list here: http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/CategoryList.aspx?id=6
there are many but most are hard to find.

I have a Geforce 040 board for the 2000 also if interested. I think it only has 4mb's, but I can't remember... So you can use your memory.

PM's to both Matt and Dutch.
@mechy The reason I asked for that specific board was I'm not sure what boards the memory I've got will fit.
Another thing is I have a kipper2K 8MB memory expansion sitting in the cpu socket and would like to keep that and I know the 030 combo board relocates its memory outside of the zorro memory map.

It's this one:

The 40mhz version with 4mb onboard and 3 simm slots open.
Not at home at this point so can't tell you the revision right now :)

I use a GeForce 040 board in my rig, def recommend. SysInfo rates it 45x the speed of a normal A500 and 1.29x the speed of an A4000. Running Workbench in 700x482x16 colors performance is quite good, 800x600x16 colors is usuable. Only downside is SCSI performance is a bit sub-par (if you use the SCSI controller), but since switching to PFS it's much improved. This seems to be the norm for most GVP controllers.
Either way I don't think you can go wrong with either of these cards being offered; Good luck! :)
