Hi guys,
Long time no see! I'm fairly active in the retro-gaming scene these days and just dropping by to let you know that Cinemaware today (11/11/13) has just announced a brand new Kickstarter today for their classic Wings game. EXCEPT....I have great news to say they are not just porting it to other more 'popular' platforms like iOS, Android or PC but ALSO AMIGAOS! Please support, back their new campaign and tell your friends this great news! Let's all help them bring back this classic (and other classic games which they are now planning to remake). :D

Not sure if you guys know but developers Cyan (and Trilobyte also currently have campaigns on Kickstarter. Cyan (of Myst and Riven fame) has a brand new game called Obduction with $900K, 15,000 backers and 5 days left of campaigning whilst Trilobyte has a brand new 3rd sequel to The 7th Guest (with 20 days left on the campaign). >

Erm.. its says this about AmigaOS version..
>>What about a Linux and AmigaOS version? Will these get developed?
We do not have the resources to develop these two versions internally, but if we reach the necessary stretch goals we will make the source available for an external team to implement these ports and support both of these platforms!

again?

I'm still waiting for the remastered version by clickBOOM.

again?
I agree..

Told them on kick starter to follow Cope-Com's lead and have an AmigaOS port right from the start on their homepage! Battle Squadron is utterly amazing on AmigaOS4.1 so hoping a modern Wings will be too.

Um, why are posters, calendars & hats $250-$500 dollars? Has printing gone up that much?

On Kickstarter, yes it has... ;-)
Anyway, they reached their goal!!
On to the stretch goals for those interested...
Good Luck Cinemaware. Fingers crossed for a good game/release and more in the future.. Maybe even bringing on more of the old Cinemware staff.. ;-)

If they reach the streachgoal of $95.000 (including paypal pledges) within the next 20 hours there will be an AmigaOS version (as well as MacOS and Linux). That made me donate some more :)
