i have 2 spare a1200 machines ..built from about 5 other bits an pieces a1200s i have gathered over the years ..is there any software that would run a system of tests on them to see if any hardware is not working correctley ..i have expansion cards ive tested sometimes work sometimes not ..i actually think its the ram on all my cards thats faulty ..i wont play around with my main machine to test stuff so hoping for a software solution ..preferably on floppy..

Just run a benchmark tool like SysInfo or AIBB, any problems will show up pretty quickly!

if you can find the adf of the AdvancedAmigaAnalyser software, it has everything for testing all Amiga ports (sound, serial, mouse, graphic, you name it)

At "http://www.sacc.org/index-a.html#repair" at the bottom of the repair section has links to the above programs under diagnosis problems.
