Title: Oktagon 2008 ZIP RAM??
Post by: DiskChris on October 27, 2013, 10:32:06 PM
I was looking at buying some ZIP ram for my Oktagon 2008 so my Amiga can have some fast ram...I think I have to install in multiples of 4.  I know it takes 20 pin zips, so would these (http://www.ebay.com/itm/TC514400Z-80-Manu-TOSHIBA-Encapsulation-ZIP-20-1-048-576-x-4-BIT-DYNAMIC-RAM-/120920850499?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c2771c043) work?

Based on the part number probably yes. Check the same part number being offered here.  http://www.amigamaniac.com/ram_various.html

Wow, zip ram.....it's been 10 years I bet since I last installed those in a 3000. Worst chip pin package evaaaarr!  :)
