Title: CIAs from A500 in A2000?
Post by: DiskChris on September 28, 2013, 03:47:21 PM
Aren't the CIA chips from these computers the same?  I think I may have some CIA troubles in my A2000 and I was wondering if I could swap them from my 500 to test.

CIAs are the same for A1000/500/2000/3000, A600/1200/4000 use the PLCC version.

Not that anyone would want to, but I wonder if you could use the CIA's from an A500/2000/3000 in an A1200/4000 (or vise versa) with appropriate adapter?  :insane:
