This is a very good package for those who quickly want a fully set up and configured system with lots of applications installed directly after a fresh MorphOS install.
Some thinks it's more fun to set up the system yourself (a lot more time consuming but you get everything according to your own preferences), but this package is indeed a very good way to get going very quickly and very easily (especially for MorphOS newcomers).
This package is a great way to explore what MorphOS is about, practically without any effort!

Installation from the mounted ISO works well. Other than an error message at the end of installation saying "SYS: is full" everything works fine. I just close the error message and a new message this time in French asked me to shutdown, reboot or cancel.
I rebooted twice following Papiosaur's advice in a PM and voila....everything runs smoothly. Good job Papiosaur and your team.

One of the "must haves" for people taking MOS for a whirl in my books. For people debating registering MOS, install this immediately after install and you'll see how enjoyable MOS can be.

I completely agree! :)
More than a few comments I have seen lately from some of the MorphOS newbies (and there has been many of them lately) was of the kind "OK, now I have installed MorphOS, was this all?" after just having booted a clean MorphOS install. I mean, what did you expect? Remember when you booted/installed Amiga OS 3.1 for the first time; all you got was a grey WB screen... and that was it! After that, you were on your own, and people literally spent years (often it was a process that never ended) to install application and customizing the system according to their own preferences. It took time, but it was fun, and the result was a fully customized system totally according to your needs. No Amiga OS system of a few years of age looked the same. And this is what gave people the feeling that you were totally in control of the computer. You *were* in control! This was the power of Amiga. MorphOS is just like that (although you can surf the web etc and do some other things from the base install) — when you have finished the install process you have not really finished anything, you have merely reached *the starting point* of your future system customization!
This package is a shortcut! It may not bring a system customized according to *your* every single need and preference (after all, everything is preset by Papiosaur, the creator of the package, and not you), but it contains a lot (perhaps most?) of what you will probably want/need (minus all the proprietary stuff out there of course), and it's *perfect* for MorphOS evaluation for newbies! :)
So if you are new to MorphOS and is trying it out for the first time, install this directly after having finished the MorphOS install to quickly see what it's about!

+ it's FREE!
