Title: Secret jumpers on the Cybervision 64/3D?
Post by: dandelion on February 05, 2004, 10:20:08 PM
Hi all..

I'm in dire need of forcing my Cybervision 64/3D into Zorro II mode. It's autosensing as Zorro III in my Buster 09 a4000 which I fear is causing problems.

I've heard rumours that the 64/3D has some undocumented jumpers which can do this (like the 64 4meg). I've been unable to find anything out with google or searching the newsgroups archives. Can anyone here help me??

Many thanks in advance!

Dandelion

Both CV64 and CV64/3D work perfectly with Buster09...

Yes, I feared as much. The thing is i'm having a problem getting it to work...a problem which has been described down to every last detail by a few other people on this board..

ie. crashes when trying to draw a Cybervision screen...often before it's able to draw an entire screen, lot alone being able to move the mouse etc.

Have tried
- Picasso 96, CGfx
- Always with a fresh install of Workbench, nothing else
- Different versions of Setpatch, 040.library
- All chips, memory simms seated correctly
- All of the above repeatedly and on many different occassions.

I was always putting it down to the Buster revision, but it appears another chap on here was having IDENTICAL problems but with a Buster 11. Cybervision 64/3D appearing on EBay very soon :(
