Post by: trekiej on August 17, 2013, 01:03:00 AM
I know The Amiga can access HDD, ODD, how about USB drives in UAE/Linux?
(Thumb, HDD, ODD, FDD)
I am trying to access has much real hardware in UAE as I can.
I have nothing against ADF, HDF files.
I might as well as add network nic.

In WinUAE at least (don't know about Linux UAE), the emulator can be configured so that AmigaOS will recognise USB drives as regular hard drives, even if there is no USB driver software installed within AmigaOS.

So if it works the same way with Linux UAE, you won't need any special hardware or software to use USB drives with Workbench.
