Tommorow I'm visting a guy, who will sell some Amiga stuff. One of the machines is a chrome/silver Amiga 500.
Has anybody else heard of chrome/silver A500's? Is it just DIY machine, or did Commodore ever produced limited amounts of silver A500's for special occasions?

Sounds DIY. AFAIK the only custom jobs were the "80s special" models, the one with the tiger stripes that look like tire tracks, and the one with the lines and balls on it, heh. Also I think there might've been a gold 1,000,000th model (or maybe a couple, one for each production line), but that's all I've heard of...
Post pics! :D

I'd like to own such a machine. :-)
Found a pic of a golden A500, to celebrate its 2nd anniversary:

I know the gold Amiga 500, but have never heard of chrome/silver A500 -I'll have a look at it tomorrow to see if it's for "real"

I bet most of them look like that picture nowadays. Except without the specular highlights ;)

It's a custom job. I once painted my A500 camouflage in 1992 and later sold it. It looked quite nice.
