Would anyone be interested in a GVP A530 40MHz? I am not sure how much RAM it has, I haven't had it turned on in while. Will check in the weekend.
It has the 286 upgrade. Again, I don't remember what chip. Sorry.
How much to expect for a thing like this?

Yo. Ill give you $200 for it.
Pm me if your interested.
Post some pics, would be better.

I would think you could probably get a minimum of $300 for it :mickeymouse:

One of the best accelerators for the A500, upgradable to 50MHz, shame it only supports (max) 8MB and requires the special GVP simms, however. If you can test it and take photos of it working you'll definitely get more for it than just throwing it up there as "untested" (which usually means "broken"). Document everything, even which version ROM it has in it (you can easily get this info from SysInfo). I've seen regular GVP sidecars fetch $300+ lately. Crazy prices for 20+ year old hardware, but as you probably already know, that's Amiga for ya! ;) Good luck, and hopefully you'll find a good home for it instead of just sitting on some hoarder's shelf! :D

and....
oldsmobile mike has just ruined it for everyone.
yeah sadly everyone thinks old *?#@**?#@**?#@**?#@*ty hardware is worth a mint.
sadly its not.

It is if it's fully tested.

He actually did ask how much they are worth.
In working order I bet you would get $300. With the full 8MB of RAM you would get more.

Mikrucio, I understand your frustration, at the end of the day something is worth an amount which a buyer is willing to pay. It is annoying for someone to pop along and suggest a higher price when they have in intention of buying themselves.
Robert.

$300 is still cheap with the "286 upgrade" ....
Quit yer bullying .. he asked an opinion so we offered one :)

mikrucio: You are the first to write and show interest. I could part it out if you don't want the drive, RAM, PC upgrade and such.
All: Is the memory rare and expensive for the GVP? I just glanced at it and I did see it full of memory. No clue on what size yet. Will update later.
Update: Memory is KM44C1000AJ8 4 x 1 MB (I believe)
Update: GVP VLSI Technology A500-PC286/512 CS80C286-16 upgrade
