Hi I love playing the old games, but I like all the modern conveniences: Mouse, bigger screens, one-click installation etc.
Firstly, what games are available for an upgrade that are not copyrighted?
Does someone have a rough list which games would be the easiest to modernize.
Would it be easier to make an open source clone? I haven't played any free clone versions that were better than the original. Except the Kings Quest 3 remake was great.

Last week i played Speedball 2 on real amiga, the game is really good and fun but it is so short, I was playing the league and it was over in two hours or less. The same goes for other amiga games like SuperCars 2. Back in the day they seemed bigger.

You're better off cloning than modifying. The original games were all done in machine code and based around the AGA chipset - changing that to work with RTG is basically a complete rewrite.
Some games could be done - SimCity 2000, Robosport, that sort of thing (the OS legal ones) but the rest - not a hope, sorry.
