Anyone got one of these motherboards they don't want and would like to donate it to a developer out of the goodness of their heart?
It will be used to make sure that code that currently compiles and runs identically on 68k, MorphOS and AROS will also do the same on OS4.
I'm a full-time carer for my disabled wife and son so I can't afford to buy one unfortunately. :(

Nobody in the OS4 community got an old board they no longer want/use that would be put to good use developing software that would increase the OS4 ecosystem?
It's not like I'm asking for an expensive Sam460 for free in exchange for passing off other peoples artwork as my own despite having a BPPC system to use already.
I just want an old crappy 10yr old board to compile my code on as I sold my BPPC several years ago for only 250 quid to an OS4 enthusiast on this forum who promised he'd use it for OS4 and not just hoard it and then sell it on for more than double the price on ebay.
What about lending me one perhaps?

Ouch.....This must go for.........ok leave it, we all got the point and you are absolutely right!

It might be a crappy old board but it still offers the "priviledge" to run OS4.x, let alone the fact that for many, an A1XE is better than a SAM so i doubt that you'll get any thumbs up for this comment.
Good luck with your quest and i wish i had something for you. Sold my μΑ1 some time ago. Really nice machine

I can offer to swap my 600MHz G3 Pegasos for an A1 if anyone is interested?

@ nicholas
I would let Trevor know that you're interested in a donor system as I know there were a few Sam systems floating around the community.

I might sell my computer for 3000 NOK (382 EUR) or around that prize, it just sitting there doing nothing right now.
My AmigaONE-XE
MPC7447 G4 1Ghz Altivec
Fixed front side USB plugs (Resistors added)
AGP Radeon 9250
Fixed IRQ signals (I think this was for AGP)
Sound blaster sound card
and it also includes AmigaOS4.1 license.
Now, the thing that anyone's me is that cabinet is too big, so can't put it into my TV bench, I think I want to buy a smaller form factor like the Sam460, maybe I can find a cube cabinet for it.

Very malicious, and just turned me down from donating to your cause.
Again, there is SAM 440 freely avail at Amiga Bounty for coders, but you would have to take a development project.

Think I'll just sell a few pieces of Amiga hardware and buy an Peg2/A1 from eBay.

I think Peg2 is the right computer for you, at least you can run MorphOS and AmigaOS4 on it. But Peg2 I believe has some disadvantages in what SATA controllers, or graphic cards, OpenFirmware can boot from, don't remember the details you should look into it before buying.
You also might need to buy a AmigaOS4.1 or AmigaOS4.2 license as AmigaOS was not bundled whit Pegasus2

Nobody even selling any of these motherboards?
-
If your Aone XE for sale yet. Write me an PN. ;)

Hey, me first!

Any particular project in mind?

Hey, me first!
here is someone who intends to sell his a1, but it seems to be flaky. caveat emptor!
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=38065&forum=33
and here is a sam440 if its enough for you, could be affordable:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/classifieds/index.php?pa=viewannonces&lid=3202
and here in poland someone apparently tries to sell a x1k, but i guess its out of reach as he will likely want to recoup the investment. strange he has not advertised internationally.

Nothing particularly special. I have the OS4 cross-compiler setup on Linux so that does for now.

Thanks. Crazy prices as usual though.
I'll wait until I see a Pegasos II going for an affordable price though I think.

price is a subject to discuss.
