Hi!
I have a fully working Apple III With Monitor III and a ProFile 5mb external harddrive I would like to swap for a Nice Amiga 4000 or pimped out 3000. Haven't tried the ProFile since I don't have a 25 pin scsi cable. Some original programs is also included.
I live in Norway btw..

Good luck with that.
I used to work with those and threw away three of them.
Thanks to that aluminum case, they have the annoying habit of slowly unseating the socketed ICs.
And they are only marginally compatible with the Apple II.

Ouch..
And they are only marginally compatible with the Apple II.
Of course, most of their value is because they are not Apple IIs... :)
Some things have value because of how good they were.
Other things have value because of how much they didn't hit the mark.. ;-)

Could be someone out there collect vintage Apple / Macs and these are pretty hard to come by. They typically hit 350-600$ on Ebay depending if it's just the computer or with accessories like original software, ProFile and so on.

Apple III's are quite collectible up here, and yours looks nice and clean. Good luck on the sale/trade!

WOW a 5 meg hard drive! Thats power! :)

I'm sure the Apple is valuable as a collector's item, I'm just not sure if anyone on Amiga.org is an ideal target.
I would think you'd have better luck selling it on ebay and then using the money to turn around and buy the Amiga you want.
Just my opinion. Good luck either way.

I second that, I doubt you'll find an Amiga owner willing to trade in for an Apple, but ya never know, stranger things have happened.
Looks very well preserved though!
Atariage.org might be another place to check into for a possible trade. There are Amiga people roaming around there too as well as an Amiga specific thread.

I would use amibay there's an apple section there. Plenty of trading happening.
But I'll be keeping my Amiga at this stage :-)
