The classic Amiga game Flashback is being remade for your PS3 and the results so far look very promising.

Iv actually wrote a game dev document for a proper sequel to flashback.
on the Amiga. with an intriguing story line and new gameplay mechanics.
Alas with my current project on I dont have time for it or the man power.
unless anyone wants to help of course :)

They did make a sequel to Flashback called Fade to Black.
Unfortunately it never came out for the Amiga;

I'd like to see WiiU and or PC support personally. I miss the days (as much as I hate Windows) when you could still get the latest Halo and such on Windows. Now a days they try to force you to buy some game console, and honestly, I can plug in a joystick to my PC and have the same experience, why do I need another gaming system, except maybe for what Nintendo produces because they got the funky control mechanisms, and of course sequels to my beloved Nintendo Classics.

Fade to Black wasn't a terrible game...
...it just was not worthy as a sequel to Flashback. Not in the very least.
I really wish the GBA Flashback sequel would have been completed. The beta I played was actually pretty fun.
