I have ordered a case from Revanche LLC - a group I heard about not long ago, they're in NY I think, who makes custom tower cases that seem aesthetically pleasing alternatives to ElBox's offerings. They sell various other Amiga items as well.
I've ordered a "Noblesse" case, black, complete with window cutout, and some other accessories which are set to ship in the next few days. Will let you know how it goes.
Have a look at some of them here (http://revanchellc.com/cgi-bin/mivavm?Merchant2/merchant.mvc+Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=REV&Category_Code=CLASC).

Let me know how your order comes out - you ordered just a case right. For what model Amiga did you order the tower? A 1200 or 4000?
They say that they can make custom tower cases for any Amiga - I wonder if that also includes Amiga 2000s?

Hi,
I'm with you there. It would be nice to get my A2000HD off of my desktop.

Check out http://www.ahanix.com/ (http://www.ahanix.com/). They're the company responsible for the unmodified Nobblesse case, marketed to the HTPC OEM market.

I wanted to get one of them cases before I got my Mirage for the A3000. He doesnt do them for the A3000 or the A2000 as far as I could tell though. They are outstanding looking cases though!! Please post some pictures of your system in it from all sides when its complete!!!!

I didn't know if there was really a need or demand for the A3000 and A2000 Amigas.
I have a big variety of cases for the A1200 haven't had time to post the pics. But those cases are the small midtower size 17 inches or so.
The Big box Amigas would require a Full size tower case becuase the full size Zorro slot spec is huge.
it can be done however .
check out the site in the comming weeks

If you fiqure out a good way to do big box cases in bulk, contact me. I would be interested in reselling. I have been evaluating options and none of them are cost effective:-(

My nomination for most original Amiga Tower conversion goes to GadgetMaster's 1200T ;-)
I'm pretty sure its unique amongst 1200 conversions :-)

@karlos:
You were looking for the original Amiga logo right? Here (http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=624).
Couldn't find the thread were you were asking for it though :-).

@kgrach
It depends your definition of in line with PC cases. We'll take this to email. I will be contacting you in the next day or so. Maybe we can work something out. No sense in me trying to reinvent the wheel if you got it rolling already.

How about an Amiga Cube?
The Clear PowerCube Enclosure (http://www.powerlogix.com/products/enclosure/index.html)
Cube Case Mods (http://www.cubeowner.com/gallery/casemods)
The only thing missing would be the (inner) metal enclosure.

What about a tower for the A4000 ??? What about making it possible for shipping to Europe without the power supply so we can add a european power supply ourselves so it reduces weight (cheaper shipping costs) ???

@ Red
Hi, thank you for considering this. In another thread I mentioned a fictitional case that
could house an A500 Mb, A600 Mb,A2000Mb and a A3000 Mb. Just pick one cool design and they will come.
With multi hole mounting, spacers, and cable kits, you could make it happen and make many happy.
Happy hunting,
Chris

With or without PSU doesn't make much difference
The size of the case almost guarantees you will be stuck paying dimensional weight

You're kidding, right? The only tower solution available to me, an A3000 owner, was the Mirage3000, which REQUIRES the Mediator (unless one plans on re-tooling the backplate). No one's heard a peep about the Chameleon tower case in years and the Micronik tower is history.
Having at least ONE other available tower would have probably saved me somewhere in the neighborhood of $300-400 USD.
I've still got at least 2-3 A2000's and one more A3000 I'd like to get towered one of these years, but not anytime real soon.
Some things to consider when designing an A3000 case: the height of the desktop case with and without an accelerator installed (which will impact where drive bays will go), with and without a mediator (affects width of the tower, much like the prior consideration, as well as how the card slot backplate is arranged).
Is it possible to submit some larger pics of the Noblesse case designs? Like a nice sized front, side, interior and back shot? The image on your page doesn't really give one a sense of how it's laid out.

You wish is my command stand by.
I have lots of pictures and will be posting them today. I just have to finish a couple of projects and then I will post the pages on-line.
Check here I will post a message announcing the pictures and a link when they are ready.
yea case design was a bitch. These cases have a completely custom backplane. The new 17 inch A1200 cases had to be designed so that the top comes off completely so it is easier to plug in the accelerator with a mediator installed.
but after you see these pictures you will see that these are possibly the easiest cases ever made for the Amiga when it comes to installation and maintenance. Both sides can be removed Individually with thumb screws. The top is held on with regular screws and can be removed for ease of installation.

I am quite anxious to get started on the buildup of this system. I've got all pieces but the case and its associated parts.
It will be an Amiga 1200 (new old stock mobo) with a Blizzard '060 66MHz accelerator, Blizzard SCSI, 40x SCSI CD-ROM, 2GB HD, 32MB FAST RAM, LinkSys PCMCIA ethernet.
Maybe Mediator 1200 SX one day. Main use: demo watching.
(Tho I gotta say - I have an A2000 as well, and wouldn't want to change its case - classic!)

Nicely done... thank you. :)

The link on the company´s site says that they are working on a tower solution for A3000 and A4000 too. I wrote an email to their contact addy telling that I´m waiting for that solution :)
