Check out what you get when you click the link provided on this page about the Draco.

Things look a little better through the WayBack Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20000622012712/http://www.draco.com/) :)

Its more informative that way, but less amusing.

I like that better. Looks like it might have more utility than a Draco.

So is Draco no more or did they just lose the web site?

MacroSystem is still around (http://www.macrosystem.us/), although I don't think they're using the Draco name for anything anymore.

Yep, they are still around, but there hardware and software has fallen out of favor with many users as its considered overpriced, under powered, and somewhat buggy.
There a plenty of PC and Mac based solutions available now that offer much better value.
I still wouldn't mind getting a Draco or 1st generation Casablanca to run RTG software on though.
From what I understand, they can run OS 3.1-3.9.

A DraCo can run 31.-3.9 with RTG and it is very good at that.
But no one has ever managed to hack a Casablanca to even load any workbench version.

I wonder why?
The RTG hardware (video) is known.
Wouldn't it just require the same software as an Amiga using the same video solution?

On the Casablanca, the graphics card is not known. It is a custom framebuffer solution that pushes its frames to the TV out of the Cassie (It has nothing to do with either the Altais or Altais Plus graphic cards that the DraCo uses).
Audio is the same as the Dracomotion (Toccata like), and probably video digitizing matches the Dracomotion too.

I though the video card was based on a modified Retina Z3.

No, unfortunately there is no sign of any NCR gfx chip on its motherboard.

I thought the problem was that nobody had even figured out how to copy files to/from it.
