do I need to install all the four hub ports to get it working?? I have only hub 1 attached to the Subway on my rev 1d4 MB and checked the clockport/all connections 10x but my 1200 won't boot ? disconnect Subway and all is fine.

No, should be same if you have all or none installed. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've run the computer with no ports installed running with the top lid removed.
Unless you have something plugged into those ports the cables alone should not draw power.
I suggest you double check that you have the correct clockport config(I also have 1d4 and I have correct clockport, but not sure that matters), then just check the recheck the orientation of the cables, and finally check for shorts.
something must be wrong unless your PS is right on the brink and adding the subway pushes it over the edge. I had this happen with AgigaManiac's SVIDEO adapter. In that case upgrading the PS fixed the issue. With my stock PS(using UK to USA power adapter) I was able to run 030/40 with 64MB Subway and solid state HD, but not all that and the SVIDEO adapter...
I guess the final slight possibility is the subway is broken... Hopefully that iss not the case. Subway is a great product...

@ bbond007
Phew my pulse has calmed down now since I found the problem to be a loose DVI cable from my Indivision AGAcr2. The miggy force is back to equilibrium in my man cave :-)

The Amiga curse I like to call it :-)
