Title: Max lenght cable Amiga 1200

Hello just quick question , what max length cable 44 pin can i use with no problemos in Amiga 1200 standard original ide interface ?

There is no correct answer to this. I've 1d4 and 2b mobos, 1d4 seems to work fine with long cable, when 2b doesn't.

I have problem with 40cm lenght cable 1d1 revision A1200 error validating disk  ,red guru , "software failure" "wait for disk activity", today I ordered 16cm cable ! i think this lenght will be ok , I'm need long cable be cause after installed indivision aga mk2 , in original place hd is very hot

If you have that indy mk2 below the hd (Dont know how you accomplished that feat) its more than the cable causing gurus...
