Title: Ares PPC?
Post by: Themamboman on June 18, 2013, 08:25:21 PM
Just saw this today.  I can't find much on it.  Sounds like a custom-built system using a silverstone case that fits SAM boards, which is why they can claim Amiga OS4, MorphOS (as soon as they get around to supporting SAM), and AROS (ppc build).

Anyone else have more info?

Case is ugly as sin.  Looks like a cheap apple knockoff.

That's the problem with Acube hardware.
You don't get what you pay for.

The price may drop in october/november.
I forgot to write that AOS 4.1 is included in the price.

I like the design, something you don't need to hind below the table.
It does since years what apple plans with the next mac pro. It allows the heat to go upstairs, making a completely silent system possible.
