I've got the 4mb version of the Expansion System Baseboard in my A500. The total amount of RAM does not seem what it should be (5 out of 8 banks populated). SysInfo shows 512k chip RAM and 1.5Mb slow fast RAM. Workbench reports differently...it looks like 512k chip RAM and 2mb slow fast RAM - the total free memory when workbench boots is 2197864. Why does workbench (standard 1.3 boot disk) show different to sysinfo? The RAM chip sockets aren't populated in what would seem to be a logical order - banks 0, 2, 3, 6 and 7 are populated but not banks 1, 4, and 5.
I was wondering if someone has a copy of the manual or can help me out with the jumper settings / proper RAM chip layout?

OK. A bit of an update...the short version :D All sockets are now populated but it seems there is still only 2/2.5mb total RAM. Is some of the RAM autoconfig and some not?

Well, actually none of the RAM is Autoconfig because it's not a Zorro board. Some if it is automatically detected by the system, but I'm pretty sure not all of it is.

Never owned one. Do you have install disk from here? http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?company=Expansion%20Systems Are there docs on the disk?
