Title: Amiga 1200 for Sale
Post by: sir_bacharach on June 04, 2013, 05:42:07 PM
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMIGA-1200-WITH-HARD-DRIVE-AND-POWER-BRICK-Working-/190850782893?pt=UK_VintageComputing_RL&hash=item2c6f97d6ad

This guy has a Buy it now of 58 quid and postage of 10.

The floppy drive may be broken or might just need opening and cleaning up by someone experienced.

The guy says the PSU is sold as spares/repairs because it needs a plug and hasn't been tested.

Could be a bit of a gamble.

I've seen boards for a 1200 going for 60 quid including PnP on their own, so this might be a good deal for someone who can either fix it up or break it down.

Keyboard looks a bit yellow though.

Good luck. ;)

Looks like mould on the case to be. Probably rusty inner shield - been stored in a wet loft or damp shed/garage floor, and no wonder the drive doesn't work. I wouldn't risk this one...
