Having trouble with a 3000D.
It is giving a yellow flashing screen with about 7-8 flashing LED.
Here is what I have done so far:
1. Pulled all surface mounted chips and cleaned MB and reseated all chips.
2. Tried 3 different daughter boards (cleaned connectors on all boards).
3. Tried 3 different power supplies.
The motherboard is in perfect condition, I'm the original owner and replaced the batteries with zero damage. Now it has a coin type.
System will reboot with a CTRL-A-A.
If I put an accelerator in it gives a black screen.
Any ideas?

For A500 according to wikipedia. Yellow is "Yellow means mostly a bad CPU (no trap routine) or a bad Zorro expansion card.".

When I fixed my A3000 MB, and tried it, gave me the Yellow screen. It was because I forgot to put the daughter card. I see that you tried few of them.
Verify that you put all the chips the right way.

Check the crystal... my A3000 once did this.
The crystal had worked itself loose and was not making correct contact in its socket. Push on the crystal see if that works

Great idea,
Although the crystal is soldered right to the MB. Perhaps I will hit the solder...

Update:
I removed the one meg of chip memory.
Tried different daughterboards.
Put different CIA's in.
Tried replacing the 3.1 roms with 2.04 ones.
Check the jumper settings.
Same results:
With an accelerator in, the LED goes through the normal startup - Dim to bright, and the system hangs at a black screen (Grey with 2.04 roms in). I can reboot with a CTRL-A-A.
With the stock 030, it gives the yellow flashing screen (Yellow than grey with a 2.04 rom). LED goes through normal startup and can CTRL-A-A to reboot.
Any ideas?

I beleive the A3000 keyboard will give a reset pulse even if parts of the motherboard are not functioning correctly.
Have you rechecked the jumper settings? The PSU jumper for internal CLK manufacter signal etc?
Last resort, call a priest, have an exorcism bcuz that motherboard is possessed :P
