When I got my CSPPC there was a huge but unoriginal heat-sink mounted with a couple of strips.
It has worked reasonably well so far but it has gotten loose and I am getting huge instability problems.
Can anybody recommend a good heat-sink incl. fan for a CSPPC?

Something big with a fan on it (preferably made of copper.
If you need to secure it, I've used Thermaltake Arctic Adhesive before.
Its meant for memory heatsinks (not cpus).
Spread as thin as possible while still getting a good coating.
And definitely remember the fan.
Passive cooling sucks.

The most important thing is to cool the mach chips which are located between the sim slots many CSPPC cards have died due to hot mach chips.

The same adhesive would work to attach heatsinks to attach those.
Remember, as BIG as can fit. If not copper, aluminum.

Would passive cooling (just a big heat sink on top of the PPC-processor) be enough? Or do I have to find a heat-sink with fan?
I am thinking about something like this:

And how you will fix them on CSPPC without cracking 604e silicon core?

The akasa is attached with an adhesive tape. I would think that would be ok.
The Swiftech is another matter ....
The heat-sink I got with my CSPPC is a huge block attached with a couple of strips. Not the best solution ....
Do you have a spare original heat-sink you are willing to sell? :-)

I will send you one original CSPPC heatsink with brand new fan free of charge if you will buy 100 clips for CSPPC/BPPC heatsinks*) for me. And I will pay purchase price for clips + postage as well. :idea:
*) - must be exact the same type as used by phase5.
