I can't reach Amiga Hardware Database: does the website is down? :-(
http://amiga.resource.cx/
-
Still down! :-(

Try http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.com/

Try http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.com/
Amiga Resource is a different site and has drivers for a lot of the hardware listed.
-
Yeah its down right now :(
-
You probably can dig the drivers with some work from http://web.archive.org/web/form-submit.jsp?type=prefixquery&url=http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/
I tested it by downloading the AtOnce driver disk.
-
Not good. It has dropped off DNS before. I'm hoping it's just a glitch and it'll be back like Arnie.
-
The website is now ONLINE!!!! :)
-
wget -m amiga.resource.cx
:drink::drink:
FINISHED --2013-05-25 06:44:15--
Downloaded: 25813 files, 1.3G in 32m 0s (730 KB/s)

Crap, don't scare me like that.....

Yeah, but do you have also all the disks files?

Yeah was down earlier today when I needed to look up something, but it was ok a week or two ago.
Does anyone know who owns/runs it?
We need to get it mirrored onto a reliable server methinks.
-
If anyone fancies, I have archived the website and can upload it somewhere so that someone gets it up and running (It would be good if you could get the blessing from the original webmaster. Hopefully he is not MIA).
It provided a great service to our community. I hope someone manages to revive it.

Send it my way please. I can get it up a running.

It's up, at least at the moment :D
-
Well, at least for now it is up and working :)
@Pyromania
Anyway, if the time comes when the site is gone forever, just send me a PM with an FTP account to upload the website to, and I will do it.
-
Thanks!
<-- **rushes to download all the manuals and install disks for every piece of hardware he owns**

Something about that site and the std HTML Web Site setup of the mid-late 90s that gives it a real Amiga feel. I was quite disappointed when I thought it had gone. Hoping it's just a technical issue and nothing commercial. would be happy to donate if that was the case.
-
And it's down again!
Maybe the owner should rename it the Amiga Hardware Boing Ball Site!
-
Temp link for now: http://grandis.nu:81/AmigaResource/amiga.resource.cx/exp
This will automatically go online or offline when amigaresource goes up or down, or if I get the slightest hint of removing it from gmx.net

Ready for that PM with FTP details so I can put up a mirror for this unreliable Amiga Hardware Database site?
-
I'm kind of surprised that with the size of the Amiga community, someone here doesn't know the person who admins that site and can just shoot them out a quick message asking for info on downtime, and if it's okay to host a mirror elsewhere. Actually I'm a little surprised that whoever admins it isn't a member here. ;) **shrugs**
-
I can keep the mirror up for as long as needed, if needed, so its fine =)

Yep sure, give me a little bit of time.
The size of the complete website is 1.39GB (Uncompressed).

That size is fine, I'm ready when you are and I'll have the mirror up within 24 hours of getting the files.

If you need another mirror you can grab my copy if you want.

A bit late, since others have already posted the files, here is a 1.3 GB zip file of the website. It includes all manuals and disks.
