Is it possible to have the PCMCIA socket working under kickstart 1.3 on an Amiga 600.....either through a stock kickstart 1.3, custom burnt kickstart...or perhaps by having pcmcia.device (or whatever it is) loaded from floppy/hard drive on boot up?
Anybody done it or can advice how? :)

Stock kickstart 1.3 on A600 means: No PCMCIA and no IDE support.
Custom Kickstart: I highly doubt it is easy to do or that it has been done before. Why do you want to do this btw? Just grab KS 3.1 (or 2.x even) and you're ready to go.

It would have to be in rom. I don't know what files would be required, but carddisk.device, card.resource and carddisk.resource are three. Even if you got the required files and created a custom rom, there's a chance that those required files will have dependencies on certain libs/resources from Kickstart 2 (A600 37.300 rom). You can always try it. I'd be interested to know if you get it working.
