The strangest thing happnes with OS3.9-BB2 and my A4000 setup. I have 128MB of fast ram installed on the CSPPC card, and when ever I try to format a floppy I get a message "Not enough memory to run SYS:Tools/Format", but when I go to SYS:Tools, and actually double click on the Format icon, it works, and I can format a floppy disk. It could be that I just need a fresh intall of the system partition, as it could be that it's clogged with stuff at the moment, and my startup-sequence file for that matter too, but before I do that, does anyone know what could be interfearing with it?

Not a clue.

It's probably a side effect of the patch-o-rama that I am running in my startup-sequence, like PowerIcons, BlizKick, etc, etc, etc. Small reason for me to reinstall everything, but I'd like the problem gone, that's for sure. :-)

Replace format with MyFormat (should be on aminet). Then all your problems should be gone :-D

Ooooh, what a nice and clean solution to the problem. :-) Thanks Vincent. I will try it.

I found out what the problem was. It's PowerIcons! :-( When ever active, it messes up almost all commands from the workbench bar, such as Disk Copy, Format, etc. :-( They all report having lack of memory when I try and run them, however Chip Ram is @ around 2MB free and Fast over 100MB free. Guess it's to the trashcan with PowerIcons, for now.
