Wow i am really pleased with Roadshow my Amiga 1200 must think its won the lottery keeping company with this software /program what a joy to have a a bit of poke whilst surfing the net ,the pc is begining to gather dust from lack of use ,not sure if i need Firewall protection ,i have just spoke to my provider o2 but now sky and they told me that the Router has protection built in but i am still not sure if this is enough any thoughts on this would be helpful ,very best wishes Brian.:laughing:

If you haven't configured port forwarding on your router then your Amiga (and every other computer in your home network) is secure against attacks from the outside. You should be more concerned about security holes in your router's firmware which might allow intruders to access the admin panels from the internet. This is more scaring than exposing the Amiga directly to the internet (which you don't do).

Please don't :D tell me any router with that kind of security hole, wich has happened last 5 years???? Notice that those wich has used with movies doesn't count :D
