Title: Amiga 3000UX Book by Betascript Publishing
Post by: Pentad on April 30, 2013, 06:19:05 PM
I was on eBay and I stumbled upon this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-3000ux-/350646043200?pt=US_Nonfiction_Book&hash=item51a4220240

Does anyone know anything about this book?  Is it a book researched like Brian Bagnall or is it just a collection of Wikipedia articles like the sticker implies?

I apologize if I am late in finding out about this book, but I like reading about the Amiga and would love to know more about AMIX.

However, I can't seem to find this anywhere else.  Google didn't seem to know much about it and neither did Amazon.

Thought I would check here.  :-)

There's a lot of these going around, all for ridiculous prices.  Basically anything that has a Wikipedia article on it, you can find a "book" for.  I think it's a scam.

Ha!  I would bet every one of those "persons" listed under Editor Names is a fake.  ;)

It's one of those scummy pay-through-the-nose-for-unreliable-and-inaccurate-Wikipedia-articles book. These publishers should be in jail. Absolutely disgusting.
