Lurkers, reveal yourself by posting in this thread please!
-
I lurk, or have the propensity to lurk.
-
It's not lurking if the police don't catch ya! ;)
-
I don't say much... so I guess that means I lurk. ;-)
-
*lurk*
-
I check in occasionally. My Amiga usage has sharply dropped off in the recent period.
-
Define lurking ;-)
-
I am still here.
I don't know why. I haven't had a high-end miggy since selling my A4K/PPC/060 in 2002, and I sold off my A1200 bits in 2008. I guess I still hope for revival, but I don't believe it will ever happen.
I do wonder whatever happened to Gazchap, ZimZum^, Alba, and the rest of the #starcafe group...
-
Augh!!! The light! It burns us! Burns us!!!
-
This thread is kind of funny cuz real lurkers dont ever post so wont post here! If I told you some of the lurkers here you probably wouldnt believe me.
-
If I post does it mean I'm no longer a lurker?
I prefer the term 'Forum Observer', but if you must use the term Lurker then it is 'Dr. Lurker' if you please.
-
Lurking ? Moi ??

We wouldn't believe you because we know you don't have any friends : /
-
Franko probably makes up a fair size of the guest users online. Wouldn't be too surprised to find he has several dozen or so computers hooked up just for amiga.org alone.
-
kesa you are really a prizewinner. I real gem of a person. *not* get a life
-
Define lurking ;-)
I bet you are lurching:lol:
I haven't made a bad joke for the whole day but I couldn't resist this one...
-
I only "lurk", 'cos I'm too lazy to log in every five minutes to post something. :P
This was not one of those times. ;)
-
I guess that includes me.
-
If you look at that stats on the side of the page of how many members are on as opposed to how many people are actually on Amiga.org it's staggering how many "LURKERS" there are. Hey if you going to come to see what the AMIGA community is all about just join it's FREE and you can even give false information we can still find you anyway. :D
-

Well, you can't really complain when you called me a wanker a while ago for no reason.
-
I am a lurker but I am not a homeless person downbelow.
-
<-- Lurker. They haven't caught me yet!!
-
I rarely post but read the forum most days - so I guess I'm a lurker.
-
Lurk, lurk, lurk. If I'd registered when I first started lurking i'd probably have one of the lowest posts/day on here
-
Lurkers, reveal yourself by posting in this thread please!
No.
Dammit!
I skim the front page daily. Don't often bother to read threads these days though unless it's something that piques my interest. Glad to see the site settling down a bit after last year's shenanigans, so giving it a bit more of a chance these days.
As I don't have any classic systems anymore, the sites focus is just less relevent to me than it used to be. It's nice to see some old familiar names when I do visit though.
-
Is it legal to LURK and drink?
-
Lurkers, reveal yourself by posting in this thread please!
I just posted in another thread. Do I still qualify ? What can I win ?
Staf.

I wondered where you had vanished to. Hope all is well! :)

Yes I am a lurker :)
But I logged in now just to say that I'm the kind of person who only say something when I have something to say.

Lurk mode: deActivated
-
Not a lurker anymore..for this very brief period of time.
-
Lurk lurk lurkerooo.
-
Long time posting challenged observer.
-
I do lurk from time to time. But that's only because I'm not auto logging in when visiting amiga.org and I get logged out after a certain time. So mostly I'm only logging in when I'm posting or to see what's new. For casual browsing, it depends if I happen to be logged in or off at that moment but mostly that means lurking.
-
so much lurking to do, not enough time...
-
;-)
-
Long time lurker here.

I thought I was a pro lurker but your post count/reg date has me soundly beat. Oh well, back to my deep, dark cave for another few years.:D

Hey Nicholas! Am good, keeping busy and out of mischief (for the most part). How's yourself? I seem to remember you were considering moving out of the UK, at least when he-who-shall-not-be-named was prime-minister. Did you ever manage to escape?
Still stubbornly refusing to join the (if you believe the newspapers) right-wing anti-Europen rising of UK and Europe, and foolishly turning to localism and community-based values instead.
Sold all my miggy gear about 3 years ago in order to set up in business: things are going according to plan so far, just about to expand later this year in partnership with a couple of other tradesmen. A large part of the business is installling solid fuel stoves (as well as maintaining all types of solid fuel appliance): it may sound fairly absurd as a business idea, but ethically it is a good fit for me - not only reducing domestic carbon emissions, but also in freeing people from the serfdom of fuel dependence from the fossil-fuel megaindustries.
My main problem is getting my lazy ass out of bed in the morning, but at least when I do sleep in I don't have to think of some crappy excuse and call it in to my boss. :-)

I would have thought that the genuine lurkers would have a post count of 1.
-
There's "lurkers" and then there's "lurkers" and the SysAdmin didn't specify which he was refering to. Lurker's who never post at all are, IMHO, Post Virgins, the truest lurkers of them all, but that does not mean someone who has posted isn't a lurker. Using myself as an example, I don't know if I could truly call myself a lurker, as, if you average out my posts per day based on the year I signed up, it comes to roughly once every 5 days. Not what I might consider true lurker status. However, I've posted more in the early years than in recent years, so you could say I have become a lurker. Now, those that have only had a handful of posts since 2002? Posting at, let's say, 1 post per year? Yea, I think they qualify. To me, lurker status is the frequency at which you post.
-
This gentleman's not for lurking!
-
*lurk*
wow registered 2004, 5th post! hahah
-
I have lurked the internet since 1995! Still no facebook account :)

Genuine lurkers wouldnt even post to this thread! lol
My question is why do you guys strictly lurk? Dont you have an opinion on some of the threads, or some helpful advice to add? People say "amiga sites are dying" well too many lurkers....
-
I used to be active, then after too many flame wars and too many incidents that led to me losing my nerves, I mainly lurk. :-)

Can understand that, with some of the responses you see here to genuine or good humoured comments.
