Hi
I don't remember having to change any Routes file to get mine working. Is your router's IP address in the 192.168.xxx.xxx format?

Little bit more precise would be helpfull. But I can guess that DEVS means that you should put prism2.device to it, wich is device driver for you wlan card.

192.168.X.X is can mean several things, your IP address, or default gateway IP address, it even can be IP address of you DNS server. But Roadshow has a working DHCP clien, you should enable it, to me sems that you haven't done that?

Hi yes it is in that format ,and there is a DHCP CLIENT ,but i am not sure how to start that off ,i think this maybe a little beyond me ,like i say i can use the shell as the documents tell me how to do this ,but it still looks to me as though i have to add an address to the routes file
and i really want to be sure i know what i am doing when i have ago at installing it again ,because it knocks me off line and it is a devil of a job getting back on again with easynet, and i am on line now and it works pretty well.

Hi thanks for your input ,what i notice with programes like The Roadshow and theres many like it there is ahuge amount of documants and and stuff to read and is only useful to some one who would already know how to install it anyway which is a little bit pointless to the average Amiga user who would need to know exactly where to enter some thing and this applys to all the Amiga software i have ever used ,i find it strange that this matters because as with ubuntu and other os if its not easy to understand then people give up and thats a shame ,so who ever writes all this information
write it for the folk who dont know, not the cream of the bunch who already know how to do it .just my thoughts ,Brian.
