Title: OS4.1 classic on Radeon, Indivision AGA MK2 and KVM switch
Post by: JohnFante on April 05, 2013, 07:55:03 AM
I have to much stuff on desktop :-) so I am considering getting an KVM to be able to connect my A4000D with Mediator and a Radeon 9250 a Indivision AGA MK2 and my PC to the same DVI connector on my monitor.

I am considering this DVI KVM.

http://www.aten.com/products/productItem.php?model_no=CS1784A

My A4000 is running OS4.1 Classic and OS3.9. I can see in the Classic FAQ that they advice against running on a KVM.

Does anybody have any experience with a using a DVI KVM with OS4.1 Classic on a Radeon?

Do you need the keyboard and mouse switched or just a 2-port DVI switch box?

Mine took time to find since I only wanted two ports and to pay less than $40 USD, but it works fine. It is a Monoprice 2x1 Enhanced Powered Switcher. I found it on Amazon, but was able to locate it cheaper on another site.
