Title: Ripping MP2s with MusicIn read/write errors
Post by: matt3k on March 31, 2013, 08:27:35 PM
Trying to use my good old amiga, just like I did almost 20 years ago to rip MP2's:)...

Think I got the syntax for MusicIn just fine.

I think the issue is with all the cd's I have tried are giving read/write errors using CDDA File System ver 1.1 off of aminet.

MusicIn start and give a read/write error from the CD, I can't copy the aiff's off the disk they all give the same read/write errors.

This is probably a newbie issue...  Any ideas?

Regards,

Matt

Could be a software config issue with CDDA FileSystem. See if there's anything to adjust there, or try a dedicated audio track ripping tool (without going through the file system).

AsimCDFS also has a mode that presents audio tracks as files if you do want to stay with a file-system-type audio track solution.
