I've got 2 NOS A2232 Multi-port serial boards with my latest haul.
Has anybody tried these cards, any fun?
The disks that comes with the cards, says "Not for distribution" and "Pilot Build only" - what's the meaning of that (see attached).
One of the card is goint to the bay (keeping the other one):

Not sure what that means on the disk. I have one, and I've used it on Amiga Explorer. It seems to work fine.

Better dump the disks to ADF and find out :)

I had one of these in an A3000 that I got from Michael Sinz. He said they used it for multiple dial-in access to the office network from home.
I only ever hooked up a single modem for dial-up internet access, but it worked well.
I've never seen those disks, pretty cool find.

Hi,
I've got two, one which is in my A4000 in my datacenter. A number of machines there use serial consoles, so between the A2232 and the IOblix with four serial ports, I can connect anything. Nice cards if you can find them.

The driver was buggy and messy IIRC (yeah, I have a card here somewhere).
I was working on a replacement driver at one time, but I never got it knocked into a shape that felt right. Idea was to get 7x 115200 viable.

Will try setting one of the cards up and letting the other one go to the bay:
