Does anyone know of a USB Wifi Adapter that works and has drivers for OS3.9 and Amithlon? I'm in the process of doing game graphics for some Amiga stuff and I'm converting an old Dell C510 laptop to an Amithlon box, but I'd like to get wifi if possible, instead of using ethernet. I know there's a bridge you can use, but I don't want to have to partition the drive to use XP just to change the settings for using the bridge on a new network.
Regards,

I'm not sure that any USB devices work with Amithlon at this point aside of Mice and Keyboards. I hope I am wrong though because that's something it could really use!

You can use a pcmcia card with prism2.device IIRC.
ps Long time no see. How's life treating you?

You could try asking Neil if he would compile his USB WiFi driver for 68k.

I think Trident/Poseidon just needs a proper driver for Amithlon in the first place before anything else is going to work. The last I checked no one had bothered to write one.

Yeah, the only hope is Neil. :)

That's something Ive never been able to work out,.... poseidon support in amithlon. Once upon a time it was supported, but support was dropped somewhere along the line. What the leaves us with (amithlon users) is a bit of a mystery to me. The fact that support was dropped obviously means at some point it was supported, which in turn means it works to some degree with some versions, but what version and what support are details that have eluded me. From what Ive been able to gather I think support is via particular usb cards rather than onboard usb, but I dont know for sure.
As for the original question, perhaps using a wireless dongle via lan port might suffice?
