hello,
I don't really like apple, but I got this machine as a gift - now I have this ppc hardware and wish to get the 'old amiga fever' installed on it - but how?
does morphos support the g5 ?

This was in the works for awhile now, and it will see a G5 release at some point.
What configuration is your G5? The "dual core" versions wont be supported, just the dual CPU.
Also, if it has a Liquid Cooling System, might need to rebuild the LCS to prevent future damage.
On the phone at the moment, so can't dig out the links to help you look into it further.

Considering this was posted in December, my guess is that the release will occur soon.
Mark is also working on a 3D driver for the Radeon R300 series GPUs (which are supported in 2D right now).
So, in anticipation of the software, I've purchased a G5 and equipped it with a Radeon 9800 card.
Current models antciipated to be supported are the air cooled 2.0 and the water-cooled 2.7, but may include additional models.
