Title: aros on my apple g5 to get back the amiga feeling?
Post by: e2020 on March 17, 2013, 05:18:14 PM
hello

as posted here (apple power mac g5 - now what? (amigaos?, c#?) (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=64473)) I'm looking for a way to get back my/the amiga feeling on a ppc - I was reading about aros yesterday, but their website got me confused and I could not find any information about compatibility with a g5 (dual 2.0 ghz) and gave up :-)

does anyone here installed aros on an apple power mac g5 (dual 2.0 ghz) ?

thanks for your answers!
oliver

There is no native PowerPC-Mac Version of aros yet.
You may try the darwin-hosted version under MacOSX or the linux ppc hosted under ppc-linux:
