Post by: Lurch on March 17, 2013, 05:48:34 AM
Man where have I been! Just discovered these and runs so smoothly and looks great. Not enough time in the day!!! :-)

It's a good time for Amiga gaming.

Holy moly that's good looking !
EOB is quite nice on my A600 even, but this is a whole new quality level.
Must... finish... my A1200 config... as soon as possible...

Thanks Lurch for showing us this. Wouldn't have found it in a million years.

No problem, didn't know if anyone would be interested. I sure was, looks great. Really shows off the Amiga :-)

Thanks for posting! I remember hearing about these a few years back, think they ripped out the 256-color PC VGA files and finessed them into working on an AGA Amiga in place of the original 32-color gfx. Shame there's no similar easy way to convert EOB III, would be nice to complete the series. Think I still have my original EOB I disks and maps around here somewhere! ;)

The AGA graphics are a nice bonus, but the best part is the built-in automap. Makes the game *much* easier to play!

Loving it, don't remember the last time I've spent so much time playing on an Amiga :-)
