Hello all.
I installed an Indivision AGA MK2 in my revision 2B A1200 a while back, and I've had a couple issues ever since. PAL screen modes look amazing with no issues at all, but NTSC modes flicker about once or twice every second. The glitches are each usually less than a frame long in time (about 2/3 of the screen flashes darker for a frame, then the image returns to normal until the next glitch).
I'm using the analog RGBHV output connections off the video output ribbon cable into a 15" Dell VGA monitor, which didn't have any issues with any other source or scan doubler. I don't recall if the DVI-D component of the output does the same thing.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
Also, the 1024x768 HighGFX driver looks great for a little while, but after 5-10 minutes, glitches start appearing around high-contrast edges like window borders and icons, occasionally accompanied by horizontal lines that flicker on and off. I'm thinking this might be overheating and/or maybe a failing capacitor or two, but I thought I'd mention it to see if there are any suggestions out there. The NTSC mode issue is more of an annoyance, since I never run any software but the Workbench in HighGFX.
Some other notes worth mentioning:
This motherboard came out of a Magicbox Alphagen NTSC television character generator, which used slightly modified A1200s as their base platforms. This is a UK release board, but it has an NTSC composite video encoder installed in place of the PAL one (presumably, as the composite video output only works in NTSC screen modes). I doubt the encoder is causing a problem, and the NTSC output is flawless from the 23-pin RGB output to a 1084. Just thought I'd mention it.

My advice is: Suffer with it for 90 days then buy a ScanJuggler XAGA

Haven't had any of those issues with mine.
I did have graphical issues in 3.9 where mine would corrupt some of the screen and moving icons looked corrupt but this was a setting in 3.9 not the indivision.
Prefs/Workbench and change "store icons in" from "other memory" to "graphics memory" all crisp as an RTG render.
Most of the faults I've seen/read have been a software setting in 3.9. Not sure what OS you are using?
I'm currently using highgfx on my 24" Dell monitor which is reporting 50Hz with the indi ii.
Had a 4 hour gaming run last weekend with my son playing super methane brothers, got warm but no over heating and no glitches. Oh I had to ditch the standard PSU and now using a 350W ATX PSU, mainly because of the all the mods but made the machine really stable.
Will be going back to a PICO PSU once I get a new one after killing the old one with some old dodgy A500 expansion I found :-(

I can't help with the glitches on NTSC unless there is some issue with your A1200? The Indivision only displays what it gets from the A1200.
As for HighGFX it's the same on most A1200's (even with Indi MkI), that screen size is just pushing the hardware too far, you can try with only 16 colours you might get better results but I suggest using 'SuperPlus' driver 800x600, should be glitch free and is still a nice size screen, works well with 64 colours with plenty of chip Ram left.

I did this hardware mod to fix the exact same problem.
I have a 1D4 and my A1200.

Most likely the same video glitching will occur(the HGFX issue) with the ScanJuggler XAGA unless the underling issue with the A1200 is addressed...
